About Dr. Neal Johnson, DDS, PhD, DADBA, FACD
Dr. Neal Johnson is a distinguished alumnus of Loma Linda University, having earned his doctoral degrees in both Microbiology and Molecular Genetics, as well as Dentistry. His academic journey continued with a dedicated focus on Dental Anesthesiology, culminating in a comprehensive two-year post-doctoral residency. Dr. Johnson’s commitment to excellence led him to attain board certification as an Anesthesiologist.
Before delving into the intricacies of anesthesiology, Dr. Johnson honed his skills in general dentistry. His passion for education and patient care converged during his tenure as an Associate Professor in the Dental Anesthesia Department at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. Here, he also served as Chairman of the Research Committee, contributing to the advancement of dental science.
With over two decades of teaching experience at both undergraduate and graduate levels, Dr. Johnson is deeply entrenched in the education of future dentist anesthesiologists. His memberships in esteemed organizations such as the American Dental Association, TriCounty Dental Society, California Dental Association, American Society of Dentist Anesthesiologists, and the American College of Dentists underscore his dedication to the profession.
